My name is Derik Basl, and I’m the proud owner and operator of Quality Solutions AZ.
For over 20 years, I’ve built my business on the belief that quality relationships and quality workmanship are the true drivers of success. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, I grew up on a farm and in the woods, where I learned the values that still guide my work today: honesty, reliability, hard work, craftsmanship, and community. Those lessons became the foundation for everything I do at Quality Solutions AZ.
My professional background is diverse and deeply rooted in the trades. I bring over 15 years of experience as a residential and commercial electrician (AZ ROC #363056) and 10 years as a welder and metal fabricator. This well-rounded skill set allows me to approach each project with creativity, precision, and a commitment to excellence.
In addition to hands-on experience, I hold a degree in Business Entrepreneurship from Grand Canyon University and have completed three years toward a Mechanical Engineering degree at Arizona State University. These studies have strengthened my ability to combine craftsmanship with business efficiency—offering clients dependable, high-quality results at fair prices.

My Family
I’m blessed to share life with my wonderful wife, Nichole, of 19 years. She is a lifelong educational leader and currently serves as a school principal in the northwest valley. Together, we have two amazing children—Jasper and Lyla—and our loyal little dog, Roux.
As a family, we’ve chosen to invest deeply in our Northwest Peoria community—both through our church and our involvement in local life. As followers of Christ, we believe that relationships are the true purpose of life and that every interaction is an opportunity for excellence.
